About us
About RoSPA Glasgow Group
RoSPA Glasgow, is a Phoenix Group established to replace a previous local group that stopped training some years ago.
Our purpose
The group is focused on supporting individuals who wish to undertake advanced driver or rider training, with the aim of preparing them to sit the RoSPA advanced driver or rider test.
Your Role as an Associate Member
As an associate member, you are placed at the heart of the training process. You will typically be assigned a tutor who will be primarily responsible for your training. This is delivered on a one-to-one basis. Occasionally, your tutor may receive support from another tutor as needed.
Training Approach
You are encouraged to engage fully with your tutor, discussing your strengths and weaknesses, concerns, and your personal aims and objectives. This collaborative approach allows you and your tutor to develop a tailored, focused plan that prioritises the aspects most likely to impact your driving or riding. Such planning helps to establish your training schedule, estimate the duration of your training, and identify a timeframe for your test.
Our Commitment
By recognising each rider and driver as an individual and the most vital part of the partnership, we are committed to involving you at every stage of the process. Our aim is to ensure, wherever possible, that the outcome meets your expectations. The training is designed solely for the benefit of members, rather than tutors.
We are a person-centred organisation.
Your Commitment
Your commitment to training drives your success. We ask that you  work closely with your tutor and follow your training plan and let us know promptly if you encounter any issues.
